Strategic

  • Management of the internal team during strategy – including briefing, concept, presentations and budgeting, to ensure we deliver on the objectives set out from client.
  • Guide clients on the best Digital opportunities available to them and best practice on the platforms.
  • Good understanding of the Digital platforms and how these integrate

Project Management

  • Clear concise brief writing
  • Detailing scope of work after full understanding of project from client.
  • Managing resources to ensure budget is managed
  • Ensuring timelines are strictly managed and adhered to.
  • Keeping projects aligned with KPI’s and objectives
  • QA all work that leaves the agency to ensure highest standards are adhered to.

Client Relationship Management

  • Building strong relationships with clients
  • Guide the clients in the right direction to meet both internal and external objectives.
  • Delivering the best service to clients
  • Ensuring we often communicate client objectives and stay up to date with their business.
  • Managing client expectation versus agency commitments, including having difficult client discussions if needed, to protect agency reputation

 
Financial Management

  • Managing all retainers and ad hoc work to ensure budgets are met and managed correctly.
  • Reporting on sales pipeline on a weekly basis
  • Creating accurate quotes based on scope of work.
  • Renewing contracts prior to expiry
  • Client annual digital budget management
  • Monthly invoicing
  • Age analysis and following up on outstanding payment.

People Management

  • Supporting Digital Director in achieving overall team objectives
  • Manage the internal team to meet deadlines.
  • Providing guidance and training as necessary, while building a commitment to learning
  • Dealing with conflict within the team, and with other departments, as required

Trafficking

  • Monthly planning of work within the team and projections of resources versus scheduled work
  • Daily scheduling of work
  • Status of current projects in the system
  • Liaising with outsource services to ensure work is executed correctly
  • Detailed understanding of web development projects and deliverables
  • Ensure projects are smoothly executed according to brief and budget

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Plan and Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
    • Curate relevant content to reach your portfolio of client’s ideal customers (including content calendars and research docs).
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
    • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
    • Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts.
    • Oversee design (i.e.: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog etc.)
    • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
    • Compile report for management showing results and Return on Investment.
  • Become an advocate for your portfolio of clients in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics.
  • Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer online reviews. Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly.
  • Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Reports to the Management, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and reports on a weekly basis.
  • Time tracking (billable and non-billable)
  • Continued increased performance of clients against objectives
  • Adhoc development responsibilities as and when required

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media. (Give links to profiles as examples).
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+Local, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to your portfolio of client’s industries.
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
  • Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off.
  • Is a Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary (i.e. content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of PPC and SEO including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”.
  • Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress.
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques. Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.

Our ideal candidate is a sociable, strategically minded, creatively driven individual that’s interested in all things design. We want someone that’s after awards, obsessed with deadlines and able to spectacularly bring a client brief to life.

Traditional web design is about aesthetics – Conversion website design is about aesthetics , conversion and results.

Your main requirement is to raise the bar on creativity across the department. Day to day work includes the conception and development of various design projects, working with external developers, pitching ideas and ultimately, understanding the needs of various clients to make sure they stand out in today’s web environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Designing against conversion best practices
  • Define and optimise the division’s design process from brief to post launch review
  • Be involved in the strategy, creative and pitching process as and when needed.
  • Execute design briefs, manage the design process, invoke genius design ideas and sign off on awesome final products
  • Inspire clients with your ideas
  • Strive for a pixel-perfect visual appearance
  • Communicate your creative vision to the team
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and communicate them effectively
  • Manage, mentor and coach the design team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a creative role in an agency environment
  • Interactive experience defining and driving the design process and direction of both small and large interactive projects
  • Excellent written and oral English skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels
  • Solid time estimation, budget development and resource planning skills
  • Advanced experience managing the creative development process in a client-services environment
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs
  • Proven mentoring, supervisory and team-building skills
  • Extensive knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite 6
  • Excellent knowledge of wire framing software e.g. Axure
