Strategic

Client Relationship Management

  • Building strong relationships with clients
  • Guide the clients in the right direction to meet both internal and external objectives.
  • Delivering the best service to clients
  • Ensuring we often communicate client objectives and stay up to date with their business.
  • Managing client expectation versus agency commitments, including having difficult client discussions if needed, to protect agency reputation

 
Financial Management

  • Managing all retainers and ad hoc work to ensure budgets are met and managed correctly.
  • Reporting on sales pipeline on a weekly basis
  • Creating accurate quotes based on scope of work.
  • Renewing contracts prior to expiry
  • Client annual digital budget management
  • Monthly invoicing
  • Age analysis and following up on outstanding payment.

People Management

  • Supporting Digital Director in achieving overall team objectives
  • Manage the internal team to meet deadlines.
  • Providing guidance and training as necessary, while building a commitment to learning
  • Dealing with conflict within the team, and with other departments, as required

Trafficking

  • Monthly planning of work within the team and projections of resources versus scheduled work
  • Daily scheduling of work
  • Status of current projects in the system
  • Liaising with outsource services to ensure work is executed correctly
  • Detailed understanding of web development projects and deliverables
  • Ensure projects are smoothly executed according to brief and budget

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Plan and Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
    • Curate relevant content to reach your portfolio of client’s ideal customers (including content calendars and research docs).
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
    • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
    • Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts.
    • Oversee design (i.e.: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog etc.)
    • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
    • Compile report for management showing results and Return on Investment.
  • Become an advocate for your portfolio of clients in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics.
  • Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer online reviews. Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly.
  • Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.
  • Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Reports to the Management, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and reports on a weekly basis.
  • Time tracking (billable and non-billable)
  • Continued increased performance of clients against objectives
  • Adhoc development responsibilities as and when required

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media. (Give links to profiles as examples).
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+Local, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to your portfolio of client’s industries.
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
  • Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off.
  • Is a Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary (i.e. content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of PPC and SEO including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”.
  • Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress.
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques. Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.

R.O.I is looking for a passionate and solutions driven traffic manager with a can do attitude to join a growing team.

The position requires traffic management of an agile team with a portfolio of accounts across all production divisions within the business including: design, development, SEO, paid media, content and social media.

Requirements:

Maintaining quality and accurate work

  • Ensuring that all scope and work and briefs are filled in accurately using relevant ROI templates
  • Costing, planning and managing the day to day flow of studio work, within the budget and designated timeframes
  • Maintaining a strong communication line with client service to ensure project plans and change controls are shared timeously with clients
  • Ensure that the production team is aware of all the project deliverables and deadlines and meticulously manage these milestones throughout the production life cycle
  • Ensures that all work has passed through the proper approval processes.
  • Making sure all the required job assets are supplied by relevant parties before job commences
  • Working closely with account management should any questions arise from the team around scheduled work to clarify as promptly as possible so timelines are not effected
  • Work in tandem with the business development and AM team as needed to ensure that signed digital budgets for all clients are adhered to
  • Working with senior team to deliver against agreed client/agency strategies, proposals and briefs.

Time management

  • Gatekeeper for your allocated team for all work coming in
  • Mapping out and constantly updating teams monthly retainer hours and daily tasks using an online planner
  • Working closely with account managers for planning, scoping and developing timelines making sure they correspond to the online scheduler planning
  • Setting up all team kick-offs, brief discovery meetings and internal reviews and factoring these into planning
  • Managing of your team leads diary
  • Ensure that all time frames and deadlines are strictly adhered to and met.
  • Negotiate extensions of delivery dates where required
  • Constantly providing updates to your account manager of job statuses raising any red flags as they arise and iron them out as swiftly as possible
  • Managing of all internal time through tasking and timesheets
  • Weekly status meetings per client with your team
  • Work together with account management for monthly job recons
